I&S faced off against TPG-IM Bad boys NC-17 on the crippled bridge overlooking the beautous river de stug river. Much blood was shed on all sides. Depite losing 3 caps in the first round, with iron resolve we fought back and took a cap in the second round. Final score was 289-135with the win going to NC-17, who are now 5 and 0. Good job for everyone who took part in a hard fought battle: Skerd, Rosie, bEE+, Pepe, VG, Hellafish, and Krusty.

TPG Week 4 |

Iron and Steel faced off against the White Widows in their 4th Week of TPG competition on the Cal version of dod_Coire (per emotoastitis's request).
A stiff match with Demon's boys at One More Time got the crew in gear for a good match.
Despite withering fire on all fronts and extreme casualties Iron and Steel pulled thru with a victory: 332 to 161. Strong work from VG on light, and skerd and krusty on rifles. these 3 served well in the expert role of general distraction and meat puppetry. Our primadonna heavies suxy and toasty took the battle to the enemy repulsing human wave attacks and a ninja cap or 2. Bee+brought the scopes to the fray but used everything but the kitchen sink to smash enemy skulls to dust...with which what shoulda been the TPG frag of the week. GJ all!!!

I&S had a brutal battle for anzio in TPG Tuesday night. First a warm-up match with the good boys from |2age. We followed up with our match with the good fellows from FON.
I&S took the win with a score of 851 to 104, first round 385 to 50 I&S, and 2nd round 466 to 54.
VG was master capper and bEE+ didn't miss a shot with the scope. Rifles by AintsSkerd , Frenchy (1st half) and Krusty (2nd half) and a sneaky thorn in the side was provided by Rosie and sux on heavies.

News from the Western Front |

In a bold move, our boys from I&S came into battle guns blazing as they fought the menacing 82ndR boys on Stug_b4 for their preseason 2 match SLDL.
Practices proved to be a great success as our boys were able to cap in the first 5 minutes of their axis side and maintained a dominace from that point on.
Holidays smoke screens obscurred the onslaught of .30 calibre bullets spewing from the 82nds MG and ripshots assault on the pipelines helped our chaps cap twice on allies.
Spooky provided MG on axis and sent the enemy flying high over the bridge, then switched to MG on allies and made chop liver out of the scurvy on the bridge.
Col. Krust provided his wisdom once again and brought out his Karbiner 98k along with his rocketry on allies.
Variable and Toast kept the houses clean as they pumped the enemy full of lead with their support weapons.
Well done lads! Let's keep the front lines pushing forward and into the SLDL Season!
Final Score: I&S - 411 =82ndR= - 128

82nd Rifles buried in Stug |

This reporter has just returned from the glorious battle front, where our young proud men ( or women ) are right now rifling the pockets of our fallen enemy.
The Stug bridge was held and the rampant forces threatening our homesteads driven back into the holes they seem to come from.
A tear comes to my eye as I recall how our worthy heros pushed back the bitter enemy in the first round, capping out in a glorious sound of a blissfully short victory march.
It was not easy, and only the sacrifices of those on the homefront allowed this victory, keep darning those socks and melting down that cutlery.
The second round saw a somewhat broken enemy hardly make it out the bridge under withering fire.
Like rats they packed the well to hold back the rightous for only two full cap outs.
Final score I&S 411 - 82ndR 128
Ripshot rose to the front in his second match beating the stamp of his light into the foreheads of all who stood before him.
French Toast and Variable heavy on the enemy numbers, Krusty rifle sniper, Spooky the sneaky rocket and MG, Holiday on light.
Tanks, who needs tanks!

Minor Defeat in Donner, TANK production is UP! |

The TPGS season started in anger this Tuesday with a first round against the highly rated .50 caliber.
A full train to the front meant hard descissions for the stoney faced officers.
Solid tactics were once more provided by Krusty in a pregame walkthrough and a warmup proved challenging against One More Time.
Both rounds of the main event were hard fought with chances at a full cap out, but it was not to be.
Valiant efforts from all those brave souls involved, captured middle and attempted the push for the cap out against ravaging fire.
The sneaky enemy, fighting pointlessly to defend their fading country twisted luck reluctantly to their side and stole the flags of our brave men ( women )
Reports from the front had the Score at 163 to 17, though this reporter for one suspects the falsehood of propaganda. Don't let the whispers of defeat turn the mettle of the hearts and souls at home.
Send us your sons! We'll make them Men.
And, oh yes, TANK production is UP!

[I&S] SLDL first preseason Match with Pubbers!! |

[I&S] played a hard fought tussle with the Pubstars on Colmar in their first SLDL9 preseason match. It was the first run of a detonation map in league play and it made for an exciting time. - Krust
Upfront tactics from Krusty and we had a plan, yet off the first spawn the entire team was mown down on the river!
Once we all stopped crying and the pub*'s got their first detonation in, the plan came back and we all began to work the map.
Moments of magic with a triple kill off a grenade for Krusty and a MG showdown from Ira_hayes that if you listened hard you could hear the symphonic backing track as a generation of the enemy became widows.
I&S 446 - Pub* 192
A strong showing from all involved, Variable, Krusty, FrenchToast, Ira, Holiday and a baptism of fire for Ripshot in his first match at short notice.
I would be glad to have Ripshot watching my back on any battle, but spent most of my time chasing his!
It's going to be a great season no matter how the tides of war turn.
GJ to ripshot in his first match and Frenchie, Holiday, VG, Krusty, and Ira's masterfull mg work. - Holiday Hero
